Minister of Finance, Iipumbu Shiimi on Wednesday launched the projects being considered for public-private partnership implementation during the sixth annual PPP conference in Windhoek. Shiimi said 40 project ideas were submitted by public entities and five were prioritised for further development and are to be considered for implementation through the PPP mode within the next five years. The identified projects include a wastewater direct reclamation plant in Windhoek, an Otjiwarongo wastewater treatment works project, the development of a student village by the Ministry of Higher Education, Training and Innovation, and a concentrated solar power with PV desalination water supply project submitted by NamPower.
