President Hage Geingob has opened up the gates for investors across the globe to capitalise on the development of the Hydrogen and Ammonia project in Namibia, touted as one of the key future fuel sources in the world. This the Namibia press agency reports as National Planning Commission Director, Obeth Kandjoze, revealed that preliminary estimates indicate that Namibia’s annual production of green ammonia is in excess of 2.5 metric tonnes which can generate over N$ 11.9 billion in six months. “Namibia is ranked as one of the best countries in the world to produce green hydrogen and green ammonia which is peddled as one of the key future fuel sources in the world in order to facilitate a carbon neutral future,” Kandjoze said.
