Minister of Justice, Yvonne Dausab, has called on members of the public to have faith in the Judicial Service Commission and to not interfere with the process of the appointment of a new Prosecutor General, saying that while members of the public have the right to express their dissatisfaction and point out when there is foul play in a process, it is important for the JSC to finalise the process without interference from other institutions. The Namibia press agency quotes her as saying that there is currently no proof that the process to appoint the next PG was not credible or that the commission did anything wrong in the shortlisting of candidates for the position.
