Farmers from Rehoboth and surrounding areas aired their grievances at the Rehoboth community hall, where they met with NamPol’s Deputy Inspector General for Operations, Joseph Shikongo, to discuss the various challenges they face. The farmers identified a gravel road that connects Rehoboth and Windhoek, which the community suspects is frequently used by people involved in crimes like stock theft and drug trafficking, but said that not enough is done by police to intervene.
