AfriForum is hoping that the International Cricket Council can sanction Cricket South Africa for the perceived political interference. Newsflash reports that the organisation has submitted a report to the ICC which it says shows political interference in CSA since 1998. The body has been engulfed in a host of issues that resulted in the appointment of an entirely new interim board. AfriForum’s Ronald Peters says they have highlighted performance differences between races, but also pointed to enforced racial quotas and the influence of this policy.
