South African power supplier Eskom is implementing record-level Stage 6 loadshedding for the second time this year. Eskom cannot confirm how long this round of scheduled power cuts is expected to last. The utility has admitted that it’s battling to keep the lights on and stage six may be here to stay for a while. This means SA’s residents and businesses will face significant outages for several hours daily.
