Ten people have been killed in the second day of airstrikes against the capital of Ethiopia’s northern Tigray region. The head of Ayder Hospital in Mekelle described this morning’s attack as a drone strike. The BBC reports that the attacks come days after the authorities in the war-torn region expressed readiness for a ceasefire.
