The ongoing case of South African Tourism Minister Lindiwe Sisulu has take another turn as she issued a statement on Thursday in which she disowned a statement from the Presidency saying that she had retracted her comments about the judiciary and had apologised for the hurt she had caused. Sisulu says that the Presidency statement is a misrepresentation of the meeting she had with President Cyril Ramaphosa on the matter and that she would issue a full statement in the next 24 hours. News24 reports though that the Presidency said late on Thursday that it stood by its earlier statement.
