South Korea and the United States have launched eight missiles into the sea off the South Korean coast, in response to a barrage of North Korean missile tests in the area. Seoul and Washington have vowed to strengthen their military cooperation amid growing concerns over Pyongyang’s weapons programme, and concerns it’s preparing for a nuclear test.
