Tanzanian authorities have yet to identify what caused the fire that’s still raging on Mount Kilimanjaro 10 days later and have ordered an investigation. The BBC reports that there have been on-and-off attempts by at least 700 firefighters and volunteers to contain the fire since it broke out on 21 October. The blaze has been described as the worst on the mountain so far.
