The South African Weather Service says that Western Cape residents could see the province’s first scattering of snow this season as a cold front makes landfall on Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures for Cape Town are likely to hover around 15 to 16 degrees on Thursday and Friday while George is expected to drop to 14 degrees on Friday. News24 reports that the cold weather will move towards the Eastern Cape and further inland from Thursday, with the Eastern Cape likely to experience rainfall and snow from Friday. This as previous forecasts have predicted a cold weekend for Namibia.
