Three striking employees of Cheetah Cement outside Otjiwarongo were this morning detained by members of the Namibian Police Force for allegedly violating a court order. The employees refused to move from the company’s premises and were detained along with their Mineworkers Union of Namibia regional deputy treasurer, Philemon Shipanga; MUN Cheetah Cement branch coordinator, Nafital Nghipitwako, and one other employee.
