Harvey Boulter , the 51-year-old British man accused of having shot and killed his farm manager near Kamanjab in the Kunene Region in February this year, was on Tuesday denied bail by the Outjo Magistrate’s Court. The Namibia press agency reports that Boulter in his application, pleaded with the court to be released on bail, saying his several businesses around the world have started to suffer losses due to his absence. Prosecutor Penda Hamunyela, representing the State, objected to granting of bail though, saying that even though Boulter has permanent residency in Namibia, once he is released on bail, he might flee the country since he knows that the case he faces is serious. Hamunyela further argued that releasing Boulter on bail would not be in the interest of the general public and that of the administration of justice.
