The United Kingdom has imposed sanctions against Ajay, Atul, and Rajesh Gupta, who are accused of state-capture in South Africa, as well as their associate Salim Essa, as part of a group of 22 people against whom sanctions have been imposed for their role in serious corruption across the world. News24 reports that Foreign-Secretary Dominic Raab announced that as part of the sanction regime they would no longer be able to channel their money through UK banks or enter the country.
