UK officials are advising close contacts of monkeypox cases to self-isolate for 21 days. 20 cases have been confirmed in the UK so far, but a significant rise in infections is expected this week. Monkeypox is a viral infection most common in parts of Central and West Africa, but dozens of cases have been reported in Europe, North America, Israel, and Australia.
