The United Nations Refugee Agency says Yemen is suffering from the world’s worst humanitarian catastrophe, now further compounded by the Covid-19 pandemic, and most recently heavy rainfalls causing flash floods. About 24-million people remain in need of humanitarian assistance across the country. UN Refugee Agency Goodwill Ambassador Cate Blanchett says severe malnutrition, poverty, sustained conflict, and lack of humanitarian access are having devastating effects on families forced to flee.
